Important Update: EduBorealis Services Integrate into VisitEDUfinn and Euneos

Dear colleagues and partners,

We are pleased to share an important development within our organisation. As part of a merger that will be formally completed at the beginning of the new year, the services previously offered under EduBorealis will be integrated into our two established and trusted companies and brands: VisitEDUfinn and Euneos. This decision has been made to strengthen operational efficiency and to ensure that each of our customer groups receives clearer, more focused services. The merger enhances our ability to support schools and education professionals by combining the strengths, expertise and resources of all three companies under two proven brands.

What this means for you

Your services continue — only stronger.

For VisitEDUfinn customers:
VisitEDUfinn continues to provide high-quality job shadowing programmesstudent mobilities and educational visits, mainly in Finland. The merger expands our team capacity and expertise, allowing us to further improve programme design, customer service and coordination.

For Euneos customers:
Euneos continues as your provider of Erasmus+ teacher training courses in Finland and Estonia. The merger has already enabled us to confirm the status two courses previously offered under EduBorealis – The Highlights of Finnish Education and Healthy mind in a healthy body – giving participants added certainty and stability. The course offer will also expand over time as content from EduBorealis is consolidated into Euneos.

For former EduBorealis customers:
You now have access to a broader selection of services — including confirmed Erasmus+ courses through Euneos and job shadowing, student mobilities and study visit options through VisitEDUfinn.

The only practical change now is that all future course registrations will take place on the Euneos website. All other agreed arrangements, communication and course details continue normally at least until the end of the year, when the merger is formally completed.

Why the EduBorealis brand is discontinued

To serve our clients better, we are simplifying our brand structure. Operating under two established and widely recognised brands makes it easier for schools and partners to understand our services, find the right programmes and receive fast, reliable support. Clearer operational lines also allow our team to work more efficiently behind the scenes.

Our focus going forward

To ensure clarity and excellence in everything we deliver:

  • VisitEDUfinnwill focus on job shadowing, student mobilities and customised tours and visits.
    • Euneos will focus on Erasmus+ teacher training courses.

Both brands will continue developing new content, strengthening customer communication and expanding services in response to the needs of the schools and educators.

A stronger foundation for the future

The integration of EduBorealis into VisitEDUfinn and Euneos brings more capacity, a stronger team and a wider service portfolio for all clients. Our commitment to high-quality learning experiences — rooted in the strengths of Finnish and Estonian education — remains unchanged. We thank you for your trust and continued cooperation. If you have any questions about upcoming courses, visits or mobilities, our team is happy to assist.

Warmest regards,
VisitEDUfinn & Euneos & Eduborealis Teams

Finnish Education in a nutshell

Free high-quality education for all.

This is the basic principle behind the world-renowned Finnish education system. The Finnish education policy aims to offer all its citizens equal opportunities to education.

  • Education is free at all levels, from primary schools to higher education. School textbooks and lunches are free for all pupils in basic education. At upper secondary level, however, students or their parents purchase textbooks.
  • The Finnish education system is also quite flexible, there are no dead-ends as students can continue their studies on a higher level of education, no matter what choices they make in between.
  • The focus is on learning rather than testing, and there are no national standardized tests for pupils in basic education.
  • Both schools and teachers enjoy extensive autonomy. The Finnish education system relies on the proficiency of highly-educated teachers and other staff members.

Finnish youth have stayed at the top of the PISA ranking lists since the year 2000. Come to Finland to discover more about our successful and high-quality education system and let EduBorealis lead the way.
